Nistec Vehicle Check – Peace of Mind in 60 minutes

Our FREE vehicle health check is undertake by ATA-trained technicians who inspect the most critical components on your vehicle when it comes to safety.

What will our vehicle check include?

During your vehicle’s health check we’ll inspect your vehicle’s:

• Battery – Checking that your battery holds its charge as it should (and isn’t going to die unexpectedly).
• Coolant and anti-freeze – Checking the level and strength of your system’s vital liquids.
• Wiper blades – Ensuring that there’s no splits or damage that could lead to reduced visibility.
• Horn – Checking that it’s functioning as it should.
• Tyres – Checking the condition of your tyres, as well as their tread and air pressure.
• Bulbs – Ensuring that you aren’t inadvertently breaking the law by having either broken or faltering lights.

In addition, we’ll also inspect the condition of: the braking system; wheel callipers; handbrake system; shock absorbers; suspension; gearbox and clutch operation and exhaust system.

Once we’ve completed the vehicle check we’ll present all that we’ve found in a straight forward report. We’ll talk you through what we recommend (if anything) and provide a transparent quote (inclusive of VAT, parts and labour).

If your car does require work we’ll never start any repairs or servicing until we’ve spoken with you and you’ve instructed us to go ahead.

Is the health check completely free?

Yes – totally and utterly free. We’d only charge where work is consequently undertaken.

How long will the health check take?

The length of time a vehicle check takes differs from vehicle to vehicle – with this largely depending on the type of car, its age and its general condition. Very generally speaking our appointments last no longer than an hour.
